Don't know if anyone remembers me, but I used to be quite active on here a few years ago.
Anyway, after a very turbulent couple of years with lots of change, a health scare, my mother became very ill in 2016, and finally passed away last December, I separated from my ex husband after 31 years together, divorced, started dating again a few months after we separated in 2017, met a lovely new man who I am due to marry next summer, moved in with him last summer from Bedford to the Essex coast to live on a boat (as you do) and many other things which I will not bore you with, I am delighted to finally be able to get back to tent camping again! I sold most of my other tents and folding camper and a lot of equipment but thankfully kept some 'just in case'
We bought a Vango Stargrove 600XL air tent last week, and are planning to use it on its maiden 'voyage' in July when we are off to Dorset for a week.
The real test of its mettle though will be in September, when we plan to go to Southern France and travel around for 3 weeks or so, will be very different from when I used to have everything but the kitchen sink with me when the kids were younger lol!
Looking forward to checking in on here a bit more, lots of tips and ideas are always nice to see, you never stop learning!
