It's a rare thing to find a chair comfortable enough for lounging, which is also practical enough for sitting at a table to eat!
This forum is full of such tales of woe!
Whatever you do, leave the stools inside the table, and take them anyway, so you at least have them as back up.
We have the same set up, and the stools work fine for us, (two adults) on the rare occasion we sit at the dining table for half an hour, and we use them a lot in all honestly, either for sat putting shoes/socks on, grabbing a 5 min break whilst setting up, and even sat having a light breakfast and/or snack/sandwich, whilst using our mini "coffee table". Almost every tea break is taken whilst sat on those stools!
Our loungers don't usually see the light of day until very late afternoon/early evening, but our stools are out from start to finish, and used a lot.
Best of luck finding a chair suitable for both dining and lounging... and report back if you find anything!
