Two years ago I bought a 2 man Outwell Cloud 2 to be used for shorter camping trips, ive only used the tent three times so its like new, on my last trip to the lakes the rain was torrential and the tent coped well considering the severity of the rain, this week I took it to Cornwall to use for the last night of a 10 night camping trip, the weather had been glorious throughout but with some heavy dew early morning, on the morning of departure again there was a heavy dew but I noticed the flysheet was allowing water to drip through the top of the flysheet over the porch area, giving the flysheet a shaking got rid of a lot of the excess standing water and improved things until the sun dried out the tent which took about an hour. Now two things first why should the flysheet leak in this circumstance when it had previously withstood heavy rain, and secondly as im now put off using this tent for shorter trips is there any type of waterproofing spray I could use to further waterproof the flysheet? Any advice would be welcome as the tent is out of guarantee. Thanks.
