I have just purchased a Kampa Paloma 5 air tent. Do I need to use a Kampa air pump or will others be able to inflate the poles? I ask because there is a choice of air pumps out there, and I am talking manual here,. but varying prices. If there is a generic one that will fit all makes of tents then I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.
I have lost count on the number of inflation devices we have here, they all do the same job, eventually!, just depends on how quick and how much effort you put in, I would however say to look into the ones sold for stand up paddle boards as they have a guage on them to make sure you don't overinflate.
We used the hand pump supplied with our drive away Kampa awning only once. It takes quite a long time to work and leaves you feeling hot. We bought a Kampa electric air pump when we returned. Absolutely brilliant. We just sit down and watch it complete the job in no time whilst enjoying a cold drink. We have no intention of manually inflating the awning again unless we have no other alternative!
