Deborah, I got one of these for my son a couple of years back and wrote a review on here.

He's used it several times since and the mechanism has stood up well. He has devised a self-made tarp to deal with the door issue mentioned in the review, given our weather, but it's a good tent and been sturdy in wind as well.

Deborah, that was my concern, especially given my son can be a bit heavy-handed!!! The only issue he had was, when pitched on a sand dune site, was cleaning the pop-up mechanism. His verdict is that, providing you look after it, it's a great wee tent and very good value for the price. Hope this helps.
