I think plenty do not yet understand that everybody needs to remain close to home & not travel. There seems to be some idea that “self isolation” could be a spiritual thing where one goes to commune with nature in some remote rural place. That is not the idea at all of course.
We cannot muster the type of paramilitary police force on the streets like France & Spain can because we do not have such a police force. So we are in a bit of a pickle really. It’s up to “the people” to follow the rules & plenty will not.

It's not just the people, it's also employers making their staff work!

We have had problems with gangs of youths, some with backpacks and camping gear, touring around some of the Peak distict on bikes, probably wild camping by night, but with blatent disregard to the lockdown and safety of others, including their own families when they return home.
Their parents either dont care whats happening in the world or cannot be bothered to keep their kids under control.

With great trepidation I set off at lunctime today to get some shopping.
The Forestry commission site near me is closed and barriered and I have never seen the roads so empty- ever and I have been driving for well over 50 years.

I may well erect my tent in the garden, look at my new shrub bed, and pretend I am camped in beautiful area...with a nice gin and tonic of course.

Bob just think. You could save yourself the erecting of your tent and the striking and just stay at home. Just start as per a camping day. Eat your breakfast outside using a camping chair and table. To make it more 'real' sit in your front garden so that people can see you, as per on campsites (I will not be doing the front garden bit!!) Cooking outside and washing up in a bowl - also outside. You could even wear the same clothes (not underwear) for several days just like my children & many others do!!
You could always stay outside all day. The only problem is an all day walk is not allowed, but you could walk for exercise.
I'm beginning to like this idea. Perhaps the whole family will go 'camping' in the garden at Easter. Well my friend & her family are going bowling tonight (Wii) and cinema and McD's (film with popcorn followed by burgers) tomorrow so all is possible.
