Personally, I would say so, yes.
One other thing to note is that the camp beds in that EBay ling have solid bars across each end. I'd guess that wouldn't matter for any shorties out there.
There are camp beds that don't have these cross members, so less restrictive?
We got ours from Go Outdoors, although 8 years ago now, and they're still going strong.

I am 6'1 and 17stone. no probs with or without a topper. Used two of these for two weeks the wife and I, in st.ves in an oztent. great beds.
Grandkids use now, in awning and love em. No scrabbling around on the floor to get dressed. sit on like a normal bed.

The new one is 10cm longer but still only has 8 slats. It has a 5 year warranty (as opposed to the 10 year warranty on the original).
