Hi everyone, last year due to ‘lockdown’ restrictions, we took our own camping toilet and shower with us, it was great, this year instead of using the Colapz Shower, I purchased the Showerking LPG a portable shower to take with us, there is still a chance, even this year that all campsite facilities will not reopen due to the very strict restrictions placed on the owners, however, some sites are willing to open providing you have your own facilities.
My question is this, on Youtube, there is a brilliant Coleman Instant Up double En-suite shower tent, but it is in Australia, does anyone know if there is a Camping shop here in UK who will or are stocking this? Sorry for long post, but because of Covid we are changing the way we camp and to be honest, with our set up now it means we can use sites with less facilities for Tent campers like us, as long as there is a Chemical disposal point. Being outdoors is so good for my husbands health and if this means no more hot steamy showers using Site facilities then the better for both of us and our grandkids. By the way we are both in our late 60’s and been tent campers since 2009.
Happy camping everyone.

Wow even more kit to pack, to be fair portable gas showers do seem quite popular over in Australia the Coleman Aquacube being one of a few.
Is the Showerking not designed for showering a horse, as that is all that came up when I googled it, it could make for quite a chilled shower especially if the water supply is uber cold.
Anyway good luck with your project, I did make an en-suite for our tent, but I drew the line at installing a shower.
My take is that if you can’t use the showers etc at the campsite, then it’s probably best not to go, which is one of the reasons why we cancelled our trip to Ruthern Valley in Cornwall last July and lost our deposit, even though we had booked in September 2019 long before COVID-19 was even heard of.
