Well, I am nearly 7yrs post cancer and decided to get back into camping with my wonderful partner. I remember once I said that I need camping like I need air to breath and oh boy is that on point; missed it so much. Biting the bullet (and post cancer ailments) and going for it... life is too short to have regrets 😊👍🏼

Good luck with your health and first trip out in 7 years!
Indeed life is too short to have too many refrets.

Wishing you a lovely level pitch on a great site, good camping neighbours (or - better still - no camping neighbours), a clean sanitary block, a helpful warden and some sunshine! ☀️
I have ear plugs if we have neighbours 👍🏼 I think it will be mobbed this weekend so will wait till it quietens down then we will be offski 😍
Looks like a garden BBQ this weekend and a few liquids 😊

GO for it live your life to the full. life in this world is for physical experience and what better way to do that by camping in a tent under the stars. enjoy yourself let us all know about your next camping trip.
I too am looking forward to my first ever camping experience in UK after being away from UK for more than ten years. Hope I am not too old to be out camping alone. Wish me luck.
Hope you will have a great time out camping with your partner.
Nothing wrong with camping alone, I used to do it with my blind greyhound, he loved it and disabilities never stopped him. As a women camping alone many people used to stop by and ask if I was ok, which I always was and enjoyed my own company.
We now have all our kit ready and are looking for a few nights away in the Vango Arc 400 and Gibbs out big black greyhound - Life is not a rehearsal get out and do things while you can 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Enjoy! Although I always camp with people, I do sometimes go night fishing on my own and enjoy the time on my own to unwind and clear my thoughts.
It's the perfect break from everyday hectic life isn't it.
Absolutely - we all need our own time I think, some more than others. I used to go fishing and night fishing years ago which I enjoyed.
Wet nets 😊👍🏼
