Hi all, I’ve had my Quechua air seconds 4.1 for a couple of years and it’s perfect for me. However I have my nieces joining me this year and I’m looking for a carpet for both living area and bedroom. Any suggestions as to what will be best fit?

Assuming that Decathalon do not supply a carpet for this tent you could trawl through the websites of suppliers of other makes of tent, looking for a carpet to fit a tent of similar dimensions.

However, an easier solution would be to use picnic rugs, the type that are a fleece material with polypropylene backing, usually readily available from the likes of Home Bargains or B & M.

You might also consider EVA foam, interlocking floor tiles. These are sold for childrens' play or home gym use, but find favour with tent campers as they offer thermal insulation from the cold ground.

I have found that caravan awning breathable carpets work well inside a tent if you can find one to fit, and they are quite cheap compared to picnic rugs and fitted tent carpets.

Thanks both, id completely forgotten that i had both picnic blankets and foam tiles that used for when mynieces came to visit as toddlers so they are now being recycled and used in the tent! Im sure theyll work perfectly.

You can also get cheap tarpaulin from B&Q and just cut it to size.
