If it's a small site, it's not necessarily a problem or/if you can avoid the usual peak usage times. Shower before bed, or after breakfast kind of thing. Bigger problem IF the toilet AND shower are behind a single locked door, then any usage of one excludes the use of the other! That's a perennial complaint of campers that some sites don't seem to understand!
Having your own loo is a boon (assuming site has disposal facilities - ALWAYS use bio friendly chemicals, don't want a full loo only to find site won't let you empty it 'cos it's not compatible with their system!) if you need to go after dark or when raining, beats trotting across the campsite on a mission!
Depending on how much luxury/comfort you want. Try and avoid pop-up loo tents, they tend to move around A LOT in the wind! The bigger the better generally, you'd be surprised how much room you need when 'sat on the throne', you won't enjoy your bare bum again't one (usually wet with condensation!) flappy wall whilst your forehead is against the opposite equally unpleasant flappy wall! Somewhere to hang a light for night time use is good (or get a head torch), somewhere to hang/stash toilet roll and keep it dry is good too, really nothing worse than chasing a wet muddy roll around your feet, well maybe there is, but that follows finding you roll is wet and muddy!!!!!!
Camping is a mini adventure, part of the fun is finding solutions to camping induced problems.
