How do I mend the correct length and knot the ends for the steel poles on my bearlake 6. Lots of people on FB pages but no one can really help on how to reattach the cord ends into the ends. looks hard.

Any chance of posting a picture of what a pole with an unbroken cord looks like please?
A large range of steel pole components can be found in ESVO's website:
I purchased spare poles and other components from them in the past pre-Brexit, very fast and efficient service. However, I do not know whether that is still possible due to Brexit complications.

I have just remoused with elasticated cord a load of poles......a small hole on the side of the end poles, mouse the cord through all poles (I thread a wire end) and out the hoe in the pole at the far end; knot off with a little tension, and all done in minutes and very cheaply?

Think Ive worked it out now bought the kit and just got to thread it through.
when you have all the poles on and are down to the last pole to go on pull all the stretch out ot the elastic and put a safety pin through the elastic to stop it all going back in to the poles
put on the last pole knot it off and then remove the safety pin and job done
