If you plan to camp in the northern part of Scotland during the summer, you may appreciate Black Out bedrooms as it can be almost continuous daylight disturbing your sleep.

Just started using our first tent with a black out bedroom - initially it looks a bit gloomy, but is nice for early mornings and afternoon naps.

Eye masks, cheap, cheerful, quick, you don't have to put a light on if you are up before the others.

The Vango ‘lights out’ inners are ridiculous, not black out at all.

I find the very black inners of my friend’s Coleman tent really oppressive.

I like my canvas tent, and just get used to going back to sleep after the 4am dawn and birdsong.

Well just bought an air tent, with you guessed it blackout bedrooms, But not totaly dark so I can live with it, Getting a bit to old for the hartford now.
