Hi fellow campers ,
We have just purchased a Campingaz Party Grill 400 and would like to ask, does anyone own ones of these and do you use ONLY Campingaz gas cartridges or do you use a checker alternative make.

Many thanks

We've got the 200 and use Campingaz CV cylinders with it.
The 400 comes in two versions as far as I know. The CV version designed for CV easyclic cylinders and a version to be used with a regulator.
If you've got the CV version you would need some sort of adaptor to use any other sort of canister. I wouldn't because I don't like the idea of adding failure points to a gas system but YMMV.
If you've got the regulator version you can connect whatever you like to it provided you have an appropriate regulator for your cylinder.
Last summer in France I used our Party Grill 200 most days and a CV 470 plus lasted the two us the fortnight.

Thanks Seanfdh. Yes we were planning on using the campingaz 470 canisters anyway. But we're just curious if other people's experiences with the Party Grill same if they did indeed use varying makes of canisters.

2 weeks in France firstly sounds little 😃.
That's good that it lasted the 2 weeks for 2 of you. Excellent.

Thanks

We have the Campingaz Attitude grill and use the CV470 cylinder which seems to last quite awhile. However as it is bulky, we only use it at home.
