Just back from weekend in trailer tent and we managed to camp on top of an ants nest which meant loads of the friendly creatures everywhere. When packing away I got most ants out that I could see but sure there were a few remaining.
The tent is now away in the garage and I don’t plan to get it unpacked for another month or so.
My question is should I worry about next time I open it up there being a whole colony of ants taken resident? Or will the few remaining ants soon disappear now there is no attraction to remain?

They will die as they are away from their nest.
You would need the queen to be in your tent for them to form a colony all you have is workers.
They’ll probably starve to death, away from the aphids etc.
If you’re concerned, get the gel pack things that you can put on your kitchen counter top, for any that are out & about. Supermarkets have it.
