Wow! - Respect... I wish I'd done some serious walking/camping like this when I was younger!
What some lovely photos - are they taken by a phone. or a 'proper' camera? Love the waterfall.

Thanks CyberCynth - there were times on that walk when I thought that I was getting too old for this kind of thing, definitely more aches and pains as I get older!
The camera is a compact superzoom Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ70, although a few of the shots were taken on my phone (those descending from Fairfield, in particular). It has been a great camera, but has lately developed a fault in the lens mechanism which means that I cannot focus if I zoom in slightly, although it is fine for telephoto work. Expensive to get fixed, no doubt, but I will have to bite the bullet soon.

Richard: I don't know the original cost of your camera, but I feel sure that if my Canon SLR 350D developed a fault it would probably cost more to repair than it's now worth! It must be over 20 years old now, and fortunately the only thing that costs me money is buying new rechargeable batteries. They don't seem to hold a charge as long as they used to.....
