Hi everyone hoping for a bit of advice I am looking for an electric air pump that will be compatible with my Berghaus air 400xl any advice on this would be welcome. Many thanks
I've got a Kampa Gale pump (for my Kampa awning), it certainly comes with a selection of connectors that couple to the fixed screw end of the hose, but no explanation of what most fit! Mixture of screw fit, bayonet and different sized tapered push fit.
The pump itself can have the cut off pressure set to anything from 0 up to maximum pump pressure of 12.5PSI, so likely compatible with your tent.
Be aware it draws up to 10A, which can be more than many 12V accessory (cigarette lighter) sockets can supply!

Thanks, does your car allow for the 10A or do you use some other supply?
My car is OK, so is the 12v socket in the caravan, but both on limits! Worth checking stated max load first, as risk of a blown fuse! Also if plug is a poor fit, some risk of it overheating and melting/distorting plug and/or socket even if fuse not blown!
10A load is pushing the 'technology' of 'cigarette lighter' type plugs and sockets quite hard! - some DEFINITELY not up to the task!
These are good for use with an electronic pump like the gale.
I have one and it will do all 7 beams on my tent easily
I agree that when I am running the pump of the car lighter, I tend to do a couple and give it a break to cool down
