Presumably this is the cable you use to connect to the site EHU supply. If so, IEE Regs specify it should be 25 metres long and 2.5mm2 cable. That should ensure it's safe for that distance and the 16A MCB on the site EHU point. That is what determines the current rating.
The rating of the breaker in your camper has no bearing on it.
The length should stop you needing to plug 2 lengths together which is potentially dangerous for animals peeing on it or a child playing with it.
The length also ensures the voltage drop in the cable is within the correct limits.
I suspect the 1.5mm2 cable is probably an after market cheapo item which doesn't meet the applicable standards.

We have always used 2.5mm, 25m, cable as that is the standard supplied with a new caravan/motorhome. On the Continent you often see them using the big reels you get in DIY sheds, and they often don't bother to unreel them! Having said that I think a lot of European units don't use electric for heating/hot water so the demands on the cable will be less. Always go for the proper cable in my non expert view
