I bought my tent and all my bits and bobs from outdoor world in warrington and the staff were very friendly indeed..even helped me out to the car with my stuff I had no troubles at all....

Camperlands and Outdoor world in Manchester are both worth a visit can do both in same day only 15mins apart.

h gingerman there is also an outdoor woorl in bootle part of the motor world group and also autoworld in long lane in l/pool has just opened a major camping and leisure section good lick and welcome to ukcs we are a happy lot  except when it rains whilst packing away

There is a new out of town shop opened in Stockport called Go Outdoors. It is near the football ground just off the motorway. What an amazing place. All beautifully laid out so you know what they have in stock - unlike a lot of other places we have been to. We travel specially from Cumbria to get our camping stuff. The staff are so helpful and can't do enough for you. Definitely worth a visit.

Outdoor Action King Street Blackburn. Last year we bought our Aspen tent from them, and were amazed at the Tardis style of the shop, there is loads of stuff camping wise for sale at the back. It looks quite dated from the front and inside but stuffed full of goods and staff helpful.

i used to go to detron gate farm wen i was younger they have a play area a games room and a on site shop.

its up in bolton le sands up past morecombe
