Some friends of ours have the Royal Avignon 5 - there's loads of headroom for a six-footer and, because the sides are virtually vertical you can stand up almost anywhere in the tent, including the bedrooms. During the evening 6 of us brought our chairs in and, along with two sets of tables and benches there was still plenty of room for the beers and wine box!
At the end of the season last year we got a good deal on a Gelert Lokon Vario 6 - same type of layout (not dissimilar to an aircraft hangar). We haven't used it yet but we have put it up in the garden and it fits my 6ft husband perfectly! Good luck with your searches. The Outdoor and Leisure Show is on at the EEC soon, February I think, they usually have loads of tents to inspect. Good luck with your searches.
I m 6'3" and we have a Royal 6 ( can't remember exact model) and it's huge , I have no problems standing up, we regularly have 4 adults and 5 children in at night with tables and chaiirs a there's still plenty of room.
Hi, don't know where abouts you are, but if you happened to be close to Nantwich, they have this tent erected at the garden centre/camping supply store at Stapely water gardens. They have a huge selection and the royal avignon certainly looks a huge spacious tent.
Evenin'... just to let jadenorthborder know that the Royal Avignon 6 plus does not have a SIG..... but, the groundsheet clips into the corners (with adjustable straps). It's a nice big tent, though - see the picture on our profile.
