Yesterday after much deliberation(6 months worth)we bought our first tent.We are now the owners of a cabanon espace 8 birth frame tent,a couple of  years old, fantastic condition. We are very happy with it.and was easier to erect than we imagined.

Anyone else here have the cabanon espace?

Lovely Tent. Hope you get years of happy camping in it. Can I recommend Tyn Cornel near Bala in North Wales. A smashing site run by smashing people. Lovely facilities and not to big, about 40 units I think. Its one of my favourite sites. If you decide to go just mention that you have a large frame tent and you will get one of the large square pitches rather than the narrow long pitches for smaller units. They are in the directory on this site and they have their own website if you want to take a look.

Hi

I'm another Cabanon Fan. We have a Montpellier 6 berth and love it.  We looked at the Espace but couldnt find one secondhand at the time we were looking. The only thing I would say is make sure when you book to go anywhere that the site realises you have a large frame tent cos even with ours (not as big as the Espace but still big) we have found ourselves spilling over the egde of our allocated pitch at some sites (which we have not gone back to).

Happy camping!!!

Congratulations tracey*and*ants, and to you too Weasle on your Cabanon purchases  I'm sure you'll enjoy your tents for many years to come. We bought our Cabanon Elody second-hand, it's around 7 years old now but the quality is so good that I think it'll last us 20 years

Hi Tracey and Ants. Welcome to the site and congrats. on your new Cabanon Tent. We have 2 Cabanon tents now and have never had any bother with them at all. They are easy to put up and when the wind and rain are treating us to summer weather we never worry and are always warm and dry.

Enjoy.

Hi everyone, we bought an E8 recently for £200 - it looks new!

We put the tent up between the 2 of us but it was hard work, thankfully the frame is in only a handful of parts as it's spring loaded.

One of the main reasons we decided on the 8 was it's sheer size, I have no problem with headroom (I'm 6'5")

...just to ease any worries, it is more work putting it all away
Kev
