name and shame is the game.
no more storeys to tell, we booked(not the fixed pitch fee)..
im not sure if I should name and shame as the site is brilliant with some excellent facilities all thrown in, its on the best part of the norfolk coast and for £130 a week with 10amp hook up, I think its a bargain..
only mentioned it as ive never heard of a fixed pitch fee before, and it seems like the most of us havent either, it is well cheeky and its not really possible for us to be too far away so we shall chance it..
I've never heard of a price to be sited together. Seeing that quite often pitches are allocated as you arrive, you would all be together anyway, presuming you all travelled and arrived together. I think you get the jist of what I am trying to say. If not, I do.

in fairness at a busy time it might take some working out to get you together, but that much money is extortion.
I'd have just asked them to get you together for the first night
Sounds like a money grabbing place to me. Name n Shame them... To think that you get charged extra to be near your friends is disgusting, and as they are getting more cash anyway because there is more of you.. Tight gits.

Went away with friends last year to dorset asked for 2 pitches together which we received and did'nt charge us extra for our triler and only alittle for our annex tent.i would say to them you have posted their site on ukcampsites and told every body and see what they say.down right cheek they can do that.
as long as there is fools to be parted with cash there always will be ppl like mr fiddler to cash in on them.
dont pay dont be fooled vote with your wallets
The charing fatc came up for us last year, at a well known site. They seemd not to want to put groups together cos we made lots of noise, so we all booked separately and requested aprticular pitches. That seemed to work...
