Hi all,   can anyone advise me of the best rechargeable torch to buy for camping ?    I want something of reasonable size but it doesn't have to be able to pick out a German fighter plane at half a mile range as some people seem to need !   Just something of reasonable size, price and quality for keeping in the tent for those late night toilet trips etc .   Any ideas?      Thanks, chris

I got mine from a s**t shop as we call them, you know the sort of thing, bargin shop, anyway it was only 14.99 and it's wonderful

We got a nice on on ebay,and tend to go for the ones that dont take lots of batts.Or how about a shake torch no batts no bulb.try www.camping-online.co.uk

Hi

If you log onto the QVC.com site they were selling TWO of the very popular wind up torches that seem to be virtually indestructable, and give of quite a good light that left the ordinary torches a long way behind. You will never need to buy batteries ever again and the feedback for these has been exceptional.The price isnt bad if you think about it from a long term view, NO batteries ever again, indestructable, quick wind up lasts about 20mins, NO bulbs to ever change as these are 3 L.E.D's, and the kids get to play with them keeping them amused. Damn why haven't I bought them yet,lol.

Hi, keep your eyes open in your local lidl (think thats how its spelt), we had a osram 3 led tourch, which took 2 aa batterys, so its small enough to fit in your pocket, for 4.99 its what we always use to nip to the loo`s at night, good luck

Take a head torch, they are great, one each for the kids and watch them rum around in the dark like fireflies!
