We cooked for 4 years under a fishing brolly, was ok for cooking just put windbreaks round and if it was windy we put the brolly right down over cooker ( when we wasn't using it ), we did that untill one year had a really bad weather for 2 weeks and got fed up with going back and forward, especially first thing in morning, so now we have a trailer tent which we can cook inside if we want to and its great, we dont tent to cook stuff that splashes, so its never been a problem,

We cook in the porch of our Coleman Michigan, which also warms up the tent nicely when we're cooking our sausage sarnie supper!!

Can anyone recommend a camping set of pans etc..?  I've just used an old frying pan and small saucepan, but am looking to get a specific camping set.  Any tips welcomed!

......outside if it's dry - under the tent awning if it's raining. We bought an Outwell side canopy that fits our vango perfectly and gives good ventilated shelter for cooking and storage.

Under the sun/rain canopy usually.  If weather is diabolical - we go to the pub
