Went to look at tables last week and ended up buying a Diablo 600 (last years version) due to OH suddenly insisting we need to upgrade tents. Would be interested to hear anyones views about this tent, and any hints or tips.

Needless to say still need to get a table!!!

Very popluar with a lot of peeps on here. Friends of mine got one in2003 and have been very pleased. Vango are a reliable make. I seem to remember one or two comments about the bedrooms sloping steeply which is not to everyone's taste, and it's an inner first pitch so rain can be a problem when pitching or breaking camp. I have been inside our friends' one when we have camped together and it it absolutely palacial -  Makes us feel like the poor plebs next door!!

 We got one last year and think its fantastic. It takes a while to put up asits inner 1st pitch, but theres plenty of room and build quality is very good . we got a vango venture 500 for weekends

I've got a 3 bedroom Diablo 900 which is basically the same except for the extra bedroom (and also a Venture 500 like Sparky69) and can agree that Vango make quality tents.

The Diablo is very roomy and well designed, but there can be a sag in the sloping bedroom walls. I think this variable dependant on how you erect, but I haven't put my finger on the exact cause.

You will need to be careful not to over-stress the main dome poles as you lift (someone inside is recommended), but this is not a major problem.

All in all the Diablo is excellent and a quick search back through the forum will find lots of good advice.

Hi there,

We got ours in 2003, so this will be our third season in it.  LOVE IT - what more can I say.  Loads of space in it, lovely and warm.  Only downside is that the bedrooms slope so getting dressed in the morning is a bit tricky but other than that I would definately recommend it.  The amount of comments we have when on site is unbelievable everyone loves it.

We have one of those, great tent but I just can't be arsed with the time it takes to pitch and strike. Still, it certainly has paid for itself so I may flog the big mutha now!!

Ditto. Especially as we often only go away for a night or two. Love it once its up though!

We went out  to buy chair and came back with a Diablo 600. I am starting to see a sub-conscious link here between furniture and vango tents HMMMMM......
