Hi,

Just discovered this fab site, so hope someone will be able to help.

I'm looking at the Wynnster excel 9, which everyone seems to really like on this site and recommend, but have anyone found that it's too big and some sites wont let it in?

I'd not thought about that side of it, until someone mentioned something in passing, now I'm worried if I buy it it wont be allowed on!

I know I will just check before I book, but generally have people found this probs with big tents?

Thanks for your help, happy camping!

Helen

Hi Helen, if you really like the tent and the price is right, then go for it. There is a thread on the 'Camp sites' message board which lists sites which accept larger tents.

On the other hand, if you want a less restricted choice of  campsites I have seen it suggested that its best to make sure is seven metres or less in each direction. Is the Excel 9 either longer or wider than 7m?

 Hope that helps! MT

The Wynnster is only 750cm long, so should be ok.

Even better to hear that you have a bigger tent and never had any trouble, many thanks for that, think gonna have to go and make a purchase!

Thanks for all your help.

I have two tents that are around 28ft-30ft square and i always check when booking the pitch size, i have found a few of the higher commercial sites i cant fit on but always check sizes before and even if local we go and pace the pitch and pick the biggest lol
