a bit dodgy just using burner, plus the heat from it will go straight up (not much benefit). we got a basic little gas heater from towsure £24.99, not used it camping yet but tried it at home and its great!!
We've got one of those round things that clip onto the gas stove. We used it last time we went camping, and weren't sure it was working that well - until we turned it off, then it was clear that it had definately been working! They're cheap, don't take up much space, and are enough to take the chill off.
We saw these at our local camping shop for £17.99, that was for the stove and the heat exchanger, but as we already have 2 suitcase stoves we didnt want to get another but still interested in how good they are.
heres the uno attatchment I think they mean ? we have one too ,it aint bad but uses a lot of gas .We were lucky we got the stove and the attatchment for £14.99 from woolies last year which is cheaper that you can buy just the attatchment for !
Yep like Skatty we got ours for £14.99 from Woolies last year. It is effective, but the paint on it stank the tent out when we first fired it up, so be warned and light it outside and let the fumes get driven off BEFORE putting it inside the tent!
We also got ours from Woolies last year - didn't actually need the extra stove, but it was cheaper than buying the heat attachment alone! We didn't have any problems with the paint burning off. I wouldn't expect it to provide enough heat to do anything other than take the chill off though - suppose that might depend on the size of the tent though.
