We have just bought a new tent because it seemed more sensible for our new baby. We had a Coleman trispace, and even bought a Coleman Savanah off Ebay at the end of last season for the extra space, but we now feel that a sewn in groundsheet would be warmer. I guess, theoretically, you could join the groundsheet to the outer tent. I considered it for the Coleman Savanah but its groundsheet only covered the living area and not the ground under the bedrooms. I suppose if the "skirt" on your outer tent is the same PU material as the groundsheet you could bond it with some industrial adhesive. However the "skirt" on the Coleman tents we have is nylon so would have to be sewn. Apologies for not knowing the correct terms for the various tent parts...Its a shame really as we liked the layout of the Savanah, however it is a very heavy tent to cart around.
