We are looking for a three bedroom tent with good living area. Have spotted  a Wynnster Mercury 9 at a local store for £140 - sounds a good price, but does anyone have expereince of this tent i.e how big is big, there are only 4 of us but we do like a looot of room! Does any one know if this is possibly a 2005 design - not that that matters to me!

Any help greatfully recieved.

The Wynnster Mercury 9 is a fantastic tent, if you think about what is required from a family tent the Mercury does it all. Easy to erect, flexible accomodation, good height and overall living space. The list is endless. We bought one last year and have had three great trips, one in particualr where we had to spend a lot of the day in the tent due to the lousy weather plenty of space and light with no leaks - my only problem is that I've just seen the Pegasus tent new from Wynnster this year and am tempted to buy that as well for shorter weekend trips. Are you sure you have the price right though we paid £289 this time last year and I thought that was very good value

Hope this helps

Like pd 2500 says iits a great tent with masses of space - it can't be a 2006 at that price, it must be 2005 or even 2004 - though I do not know what differences there are between the years. That would be a hell of a lot of tent for your money!

Gillian

Welcome to UKCS  by the way,

The groundsheet is clip in so not sewn in and no inner for the main compartment, bedrooms obviously have SIG. This means it is quicker to erect but not "bug free".

Looks like a bargain to me.
