When camping in Northumberland last year, we woke to find 3 inches of water inside the tent. My initial thoughts that the missus had relapsed into bouts of childhood bedwetting were unfounded.
May I respectfully advise all campers against converting their airbeds into poor man's luxury waterbeds. Whilst you may well get a couple of hours of blissful rest, do not underestimate the combined force generated by 68 gallons of water and a 16 stone human being, on a plastic airbed stopper.
