Hi everyone

It's just over 4 weeks until our first outing this season to Bude at Easter - to say we're getting excited would be an understatement!  Were out on Sunday at Towsure in Southampton and picked up a few bits and pieces to life a bit easier when we're camping.  You know the sort of thing, you see them and just have to have them coz they are such a good idea, even though you managed perfectly well without them last year!!!

Am trying very subtley to get my OH to think about trading up to a Montana 6 but this is a work in progress - if you get my drift!  Might have to employ some femine wiles!!!  Have just ordered the Outwell side canopy for our Minnesota, just hoping it's here in time for Easter.

Well, anyway happy camping to you all.

Paula

Here's hoping that the weather starts to get a bit better.   Today its been bitterly cold here in Liverpool - icy rain and a wind that slices you in two.
I'm hoping to get away for a few days after Easter - just depends on the health of an elderly relative that took a turn for the worse last week.

Hope your relative recovers quickly moonseeker!

I was really excited aboutcampingover Easter, then yesterday we had a footof snow...well,slight exageration but lots anyway...now i'm think it's only4 weeks till Easter...how is it ever going to warm up enough in 4 weeks?  Just can't imagine it, although ican remember sunbathing over the Easter hols a coupe of years ago...I want to go camping butnot if it's going to be really cold...anyone know the long term forecast??

Hasn't stopped us lookingformore gadgets and gizmos though...don't know how we managed the firat time we went camping....with just the basics!

This is the longest we have ever had between camping and we can't wait til Dent meet..!

With Christmas, trip to Dublin, concerts and daughters 18th Birthday (big do this Friday and work) we haven't been camping since the end of October...We only missed out one month last year..!

Why can't we live in the tent..?

They say its for health and safety. as the heater is oil filled i cant see it. I think it is more to do with the cost  of running it.

I'm off to Dornoch for a few days on 1st April( whatever the weather!), followed by a week on the North West coast of Scotland followed by a few unbooked stops at the end

Its only two weeks to go
