We did get to view one before we bought, but i have to say we do think its outstanding and every time we use it it attracts lots of interest on the camp site. It i could have got one of the small ones at a good price i would have got that for when i go off with the motorbike it was a wrench going for another brand

I ordered the Starcamper 4 from this site. It arrived the next day and the communication was great. They even sent me an Amrak number and web link so I could keep an eye on it. But it came at 8am next day so didn't have time to track it!

The tent is great! We are really happy with it. So any questions about it - let me know!

Hi - we're looking to purchase a tent and are very interested in the VRX Scenic 5.0i but have a few queries which we're hoping some kind soul out there can help with!

Reading some of the previous posts and the info on the tent, it's erected fly sheet first - with the poles being on the outside what does the inner tent attach to?  Somebody mentioned ties - how secure are these?  Thinking mainly if you trip over the sig is it likely to rip inner/fly?  If these are attached by loops, is it possible to leave them attached when packing up so that it's pitched all-in-one next time?

We know it's possible to cook inside a canvas tent but is it in this one?  Obviously safety's a prime consideration and not considering BBQ but normal gas cooker?

Finally (for now...) presume the canopy poles are included to make the sun/rain shade at front entrance but they're not mentioned.

The other tent we're considering is the Peakland Matlock but this seems to have problems - any other thoughts on comparison between the two?

All help/advice gratefully received.
