Oooh I was so excited this morning - the forecast was for SUN SUN SUN and that could only mean one thing in our house...
TIME TO PUT UP THE NEW TENT!!!!
I was so excited. Me & my little helper (he's 22 months) went out into the garden, laid out all the inner and pegged out, threaded through the 4 poles and HEY PRESTO! it was up in a flash. I was a little concerned about how a 5ft-nothing-me was going to cope getting the fly sheet over, but it was a breeze!
15 Mins later and it was all pegged out and shining like a new penny in the sunlight!
Full sewn-in groundsheets and enough headroom for someone 6ft, I LOVE THIS TENT. We've a Breckenridge Deluxe too (in exactly the same colours, lol) and it takes around 40-50 mins on a good day. That's our 'long trip away' tent, this Yale is our weekender!
Kids are sleeping in the new tent this weekend (prob end up being the whole family, lol) Roll on Easter!!!!!

We have one of these tents but we have never erected it yet! Would you say it is big enough for 2 adults and 2 children for a weeks camping? and also could you post some pics of the tent inside?
I can't wait to get our Yale up!!

Hi R2D2,
I don't have any pics of the inside yet - but it's basically one long tent. You have the option to hang the curtain dividers for privacy if you wish, but we will be keeping it as one big room.
It's definately big enough for 2 adults & 2 children. We are 2 adults & 3 children, but we are only intending to use it for weekend use. That said, when I put it up I did wonder if it would do for our main holidays - but changed my mind when I remembered how much stuff we have!!!
The main disadvantage I would say is that there is no-where to cook. Sure, you could cook in the main area of the tent, but you would need to be careful (I can't remember now if the windows at either end were mesh or plastic, but I think they were plastic.
Great tent though!
