Thats the one i bought too. Didnt know how long it was going to last. Only planning on weekends this year. 2 nights max.
Also have a fridge that runs on gas or elec. Which i thought might drain the bottle quickly. Think this is an overkill for a weekend though. Trying to avoid the electric hook up too, as on a few occasions last year found myself surrounded by caravans.
I have the 907 bottle and it definatly last longer than two weeks, sorry dont know where to get them online, I usually just get mine filled at the camping shop when im there or there's a local campsite near us that you can exchange them, most campsites have 907 refills.
You can sometimes pick up gas bottles free or for a few quid to the guy in charge, at your local tip. they last ages if your only cooking with them, we only used one for the whole summer last year. We camped for 5 full weeks and didn't need it refilled. We did have ehu and used an electric kettle for water though.
I dont think you can buy gas online due to regulations about posting it. You can get it in most DIY and camping shops, even some camp sites and garages. The camping gaz site gives a list of stockists. We also got our bottles from the tip and one bottle lasts us a year including 16 days in France where you can even buy camping gaz at the supermarkets.
I just got a new 907 refill today from our local camping shop. This is my first refill in the last 12 months so it shows how long they last, We use the campingaz double hob and grill and use the cooker for some heat if camping without any power
Well there is always a time to try a new design of tent. I sold my Vango Colorado 600 at the weekend and wanted a smaller tent as i have a new car and the boot is smaller so the vango was to big and heavy.
This tent ways half the weight and is in a round carry bag. Is there anyone else on here who has one
