Get a steamer they come in very handy when you have to cook 2 lots of vegs plus potatoes on a gas stove with 2 rings, then you have a spare ring for somthing else.Wouldnt be without mine.
We have a vango Teflon set. 3 pans that fit into each other and lid with 1 handle that fits all the pans. The lid is a small frypan. £24.99 and stocked in most camping shops. Our kettle is just a small 1 pint job with whistle that does for 2. Also from camping shops.
get a trangia set! comes with a meths burner too ;-)

I've had my old Trangia set for 20 years, Indestructible!
Have never had a problem with it or had to replace anything yet. Even though we use a gas stove most of the time I wouldn't go camping without it, It's great for that 1st cuppa when you arrive and before you unpack everything and handy to have as a back up.
I know they're a bit pricey now (They were back then too) but I think I can say it doesn't owe me a penny after all these years
Pots & Pans and Kettle, are something I've never bothered buying from a camping store.
I'm still using the same teflon set I bought from Tesco's about eight year ago, I think it cost about a tenner then.
My 'whistling' kettle I've had for about twenty years, it's a bit 'battered' but still boils water OK for me morning cuppa!...
I'm the world's worst spendaholic and I always meant to 'invest' in a set of camping pans. BUT I never managed to convince myself that I could do better than the two spare saucepans I take every time. I've got one of those grill plates also. Can't see anything changing this year either!

Well, mine has been with me for 20 years too! I am thinking about treating myself to the larger non stick combo, now I am cooking for the 2 kids as well, that way I can use my old set as the brew factory :-) You just cannot beat them!

Had something like this for years. Cleans up a treat and never felt the need for anything else (4 of us). My only complaint is that I want to indulge in something new but I refuse to throw away anything that still does the job! lol

Although we've now got a "newer" slightly bigger kettle (which itself is probably 8 years old now), we still have & use for brew-ups a little kettle that my grandparents used to use for picnicks back in the late 1950's/early 1960's. It's aluminium, has a folding tin handle (something about different metals not conducting heat from one to the other so fast) and a proper narrow spout that pours perfectly. It's still going strong & I wouldn't be without it. (I've still also got their old Campingaz Bluet stove in it's original tin from the 1960's too).
