After much deliberation and with the help of lots of advice on here, I finally took the plunge and bought a tent.
I went for a Diablo 600 in the end - last years model but at £200 it was a bargain and who needs an extra door and a skylight anyway!
Thanks for all the people that replied to my previous posts - all the advice was very useful. In the end though I went for the tent I had seen as it was really difficult to judge the rest from pictures on the net.
Nice one now go out and enjoy it take the rough with the smooth and be adaptable ,get on a meet and make new friends and in some cases lasting friendships ,

HI, we got our diablo 600 last year after much on-line research and help from members of thissite! We took it out twice, once in France and once for a weekend in Forest of Dean.
It's a great tent. Remember to get someone to hold up the poles in the centre when doing the inner to prevent too much strain on them.

{As told to me by a friend.} Man's best friend is the dog, but a women's is the bunny
