I can't seem to find the Ridgidome on Khyam's website.  Does anyone know if this has been discontinued?

Thanks Dave

That's a shame.  It looks like a good solution to the whole weekend tent versus longer stay tent problem.

Found this Dave and it looks like a wee bit of rebranding is being done for 2006.

DavieC,

Thanks for that, unfortunately it was the zip on pods that I liked on the Ridgipod.

Anyone out there know of a similar design by other manufacturers?

Dave

Nor me :)
You'd think that more manufacturers would have latched onto the Ridgipod concept though. Maybe they're just too expensive to manufacture and too many things to go wrong (e.g. zips).

Hi Brev

Try sporting supplies they have the full rigipod classic outfit for just £495.00 and are extremely helpfull - Bought mine about a month ago and it has been up and down in the garden so many times already - I am as impressed with the product as I was with the concept.

I have a flexible family as far as camping is concerned sometimes it is just me and the two boys (6 & 3) some weekends it is the previous plus my two daughters from 1st marriage. Sometimes all of the above plus family and friends.

As you can imagine flexibility is paramount.

What a strange looking thing that is.  It looks like the annexe has an outer sheet that goes all the way over the top of the main tent.

I must admit I like that Ridgipod and the deal that dancingfool posted looks quite good.

Now if I could just persuade OH to sell both the other tents and get one of these I'll be sorted!!

Hi Brev

As you may have noticed the sporting supplies Rigipod classic has all three pods - is brand new - and only &20 more than the |Khyam Cosmetic second offer.

Aspinalls caravans also sometimes have khyam tents for sale.

To be honest you will be hard pushed to beat the Sporting supplies deal.

I know I have looked long and hard.

Off to oldbury hill in the morning to give the pod its first real trial.

Good luck with your search

Spencer
