It's the first time I've been there, Usually I stay fairly local when camping, incase the whether turns bad etc but a few mates said it's a great place to go, so I decided to go there
Thought I'd write a note as Lyme is really close to me - in fact I was there just last night! They are re-doing the seafront at the mo and is fairly interesting as they have some large boats on the water off loading big rocks and huge dumper trucks ect everywhere! I know it sounds really sad but the kids love watching them!! Excellent chinese takeaway, great pubs, small cinema and nice walks all around. Also I think in a few weeks there it is Fossil Week in Lyme so more things to keep you entertained. Hope you enjoy yourself and that the weather is good! Oh as a point, if you are venturing down to The Cobb - it is a VERY steep hill currently with traffic lights and lots of works going on. Make sure your vehicle has a good handbrake else you may make an untimely dip into the cold sea!!
Ohhhhh groan......congratulations, (said through gritted teeth....).
Jammy bl**dy beggars..........sickening or what? For those of us poor saddos who only ever get two flaming weeks a year in their wonderful shiny new tin tents.....
Have a w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l time....as if you need telling......
Never mind: only about 18 weeks to my hols and counting...every bl**dy one!!
