Hello there and welcome to UKCS. Vango is a very reliable make, so you have got the first bit right! The main difference between the 2 is that the Diablo goes up inner first and has a full sewn in groundsheet throughout the living/sleeping area; the advantages are a draught and bug free living area, a separate porch area between inner and outer layers which is good for cooking, muddy boots, wet coats etc and slightly better stability. The downside is that the inner is not waterproofed like the outer so there are moments of vulnerability to the elements when pitching and taking down.

Colorado goes up outer first, with a loose groundsheet laid inside afterwards. It is therefore a bit more speedy to pitch and the inner bedroom pods won't get wet. One thing to check is whether the COlorado has mudflaps at the bottom of the flysheet. These are great to either peg out or tuck in under the edge of the groundsheet, thus closing the draughty gap.

If you do a search about sewn-in groundsheets you will find lots of pros and cons listed. There are a few models that combine the best of both worlds and have a SIG and go up outer first (Outwell Montana and Sun valley, Coleman Magellan, Vango Aurora are th eones that come to mind). It is partly about personal choice in the end, as people on here are equally passionate about both types!
