Hi everyone. Easter is fast approaching (yippee!) & we'll be taking our Wynnster Anglesey on it's 1st outing. Does anyone have any pitching tips? I don't think we'll have chance to have a trial run before we go, so any suggestions to make life easier for us will be most appreciated. Thanks.
cant remeber if mines an angelsey or not but its a 12 man wynster its been at my sis for a while.there all colour coded and easy enough to put up,just remeber to put the middle ones in first there usually the longest 2 poles, but dont try stand it up untill u have all the poles in,i fink wynsters are brill ive never had any trouble with mines its been great in winds ect, however next time i fink i will go for one with a sewn in ground sheet, good luck and happy camping.
Don't want to worry you too much, but we have just been away for the weekend in our brand new Wynnster Anglesey. We had a problem with one of the poles being bent that needed lots of effort to make it work. It's still not right now. Then as we put the pole in for the bedroom, their was some bad stitching, and the piece of material with the holes for the poles pulled off. We had to use the repair kit and stick the actual pole end into the ground to keep the tent up.
Add to that the torrential rain we had and the mud bath that we camped on, it didn't make for a successful camping trip! We had to throw the seperate parts into bin bags and hope for some sunshine next week to clean the mud off it and dry it out. Because its in such a mess, I'm not sure if we'll be entitled to a refund or replacement.
On the positive side, the tent itself went up quite easily (apart from the diy we had to do on the bedroom) and is quite self-explanatory. We loved the tent and hope we can get it fixed.
