Has anyone seen or tried Line-Lok guy rope tensioners?

I find that the 3 holed plastic jobies are sometimes a bit fiddly to feed the line through and need to be re-tensioned every day as they slacken off.

They do a bag of 50 for about £15 so I was considering giving them a try.

I havent tried them, but cant you just buy a few and see how they go before spending tooooo much just to see whether you do need to re-tension them everyday?!?!  Just a thought!

Yes I tried the glow in the dark ones - they are very good giving a strong grip and really simple adjustment. I am really happy as they hold well in strong winds. My only comment is that the "glow in the dark" bit really isn't noticable.

They do make the guy lines wear quicker, but it's not been a major issue so far or us.

I have used them on my canvas frame tent and i was very impressed, they seemed to have a much better grip on the guy than traditonal runner types

he Made the mistake tho of swapping them onto a Cabanon Andorra which I subsequently didn't like and forgot to put them back on my old Rotonde, so you reminded me that I need to order some replacements.
