well hello peeps its been quite some time since i last looged on here or at least it feels that way !

i am now back and can't wait to get started again, this time we have decided to camp for a few nights only and so we wont need a big tent, no more stray family members can come with us !! we think thats great !

anyway i now need your help.............

i am looking for a fairly cheap tent, big enough for 2 fat adults and 2 small children we would like enought room for it to fit a small table and chair set.

we now have anew car so will be nolonger travelling in the trani van so space is going to be a real squeeze.

i would be grateful for any ideas.

It gets mentioned for everything else so I'll say Vango venture (500 or 600).  Living space on 500 would be tight for table and chairs but we normally get shelving, cool box, cooker, food box  & 2 folding chairs before the kids after to "stand outside"

Thanks Mike i have speaking to another friend from this site and she has also reccommended that tent, i notice your in warrington i live in runcorn but work in warrington do you know any where local that might sell them?

Outdoor world on Winwick road Warrington (opposite college) sell them - thats where we got ours.  Last time in there they had one on display

Not sure if Hugh lewis in Widnes stock them

Both have quite good displays of other tents that might suit as well.

Hi I'm also from Runcorn and Hugh Lewis do a great range of medium sized tents.   He could do with refurbishing that shop though, it's not changed scince I used to go inere as a kid.

Hi Julie, not too sure if i would tell many people you are from Sunny Runny he he he I live in Murdishaw another place i don't broadcast about!!!!

anyway i know what you mean about Hugh Lewis i think he invented thread bare carpets - will try and pop in over trhe weekend.
