just had a call from OH, he said there is a new Go Outdoors shop opening where a furniture to go used to be, it opens on 10th April, it is a very big place so hopefully should be a well stocked place, it's stockport rd, cheadle heath, stockport, can't wait to check it out, hopefully they will have some erected tents so i can get an idea how to put ours up, still hav'nt got round to it, still got till may 27th when we venture out.

It will be nice to have somewhere new to look around, Camperlands is great but it will be nice to have a choice.

Go outdoors sent email saying store at Cheadle was opening on 8th April. Was hoping to go tomorrow!

I'm so excited, saves a big trip to Sheffield, but means as its closer will probably spend more than i should!

did anybody get any bargains from here yet, i was going to go today but never got round to it, would of depressed me i think if i had because don't get paid till 18th and i don't like "just looking", let me know if its any good, i live about 1 mile away from it, which could be a bad thing

I wish there was a decent camping shop near us, our local one can only put up about 6 tents and 3 of them are only small ones!

After reading an earlier post it looks like Swansea is the closest one to us which is quite a trek

I was very close to going today - sun was out which always makes shopping that much better, but kids started playing up (and it's only the first day of the school hols)

Still it's open until 8pm tonight, so i'll see what mood OH is in when he gets in and maybe pop down, I'll let you know what it's like if we do.

Went today, no opening day bargains but good stock at good prices. Picked up a few things. Will be good not to travel further afield to other CCC stores. I like this shop!

Kids and i met hubby there at lunchtime (he works is CHeadle) and we live in Glossop.

Dont' think there will be much competition for Decathlon as they are more into sports than camping, ony have a small camping section.

Went yesterday, really good selection of tent, had a very nice morning, then went to Camperlands as well. Bliss!!!!

did they have a royal toulouse 9 by any chance, need to see one to give me an idea of what i'm up against when i unpack mine, hav'nt looked at it yet, it's still in the box it came in, HELLLLLLP
