Hello all,

Just got back from 4 days camping in Edale.

It was fantastic to get out for the first time this year, really blow away the cobwebs.

Stayed up at Fieldhead campsite, and although very wet, very muddy, and very cold, even got snow! it was brilliant.

Spent yesterday up on Kinder Scout with 6 inches of snow with White-Out blizzards. Totally amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

So where has everybody else been this weekend?????????

WELL done you, you brave camper you hahaha.

I have been here reading the posts, and waiting for the weather to climb up a few degrees ( about 20 degrees if possible ) and then I might consider venturing out, but you are braver than I am, have you got anything else planned for this year or do you just go on the spur of the moment and a favourable weather forcast.

WE ARE OFF THIS WEEK. DOESNT LOOK LIKE THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BUCK UP. WERE YOU REALLY COLD AT NIGHT OR DID YOU HAVE EHU.

We just got back from 3 nights at Sherwood Forest holiday camp. ( nice site good facilities and reasonably priced )

The weather was very interesting to say the least, we had the whole range sun rain wind hail snow frost...more rain.

Not ideal for the tent but our vango diablo held out we were dry, not always warm but still its better than home.

next week sees us off to Wolds way for Easter then again the weekend after for the north east meet.

Heres hoping its a little warmer and a lot drier
