Is anyone else braving the coast of Cromer for a long weekend over Easter... one weather report says sunshine while another says rain and more rain!
Detemined to go whatever weather, dying to try out our Vango Aurora 800DLX (ok only two of us going this time but we will have loads of space) got loads of new gear as we've splashed out on a few new additions so be good to try it without the kids hassling us cos they are bored...
Anyone heading off for a camping Easter Break - Have fun and Enjoy!
Yes we are off to Dorset, I'm watching the weather closely! I've never camping in wet and windy weather so I think this could be an experiance for us. I'm taking lots of warm clothing and a big heater!!
I'm going to Cannock Chase in the Midlands this weekend. I went to the site yesterday to have a look at the site where I will pitch. Its a little soggy and damp, but I'm going no matter what. The weather yesterday was lovely though and now today of course it raining again. What a suprise.
Off to Weston Park in Shiffnal Shropshire this weekend for the Midlands Festival of Transport with our car club. Metcheck is tipping dry if a tad breezy for postcode TF11 with a bit of rain Saturday morning. Don't give a monkey's what it does Sat/Sun as long as we pitch in the dry and strike in the dry, drying out a khyam at home is a right royal pain when your garden's full of conservatory and raised decking !!
If we only have to dry out the underside of the groundsheet then I'll be happy ! Enjoy everyone.

We are off to the Aliens meet in Suffolk. Must agree with Barry B, being the proud owners of Khyams, just hope its dry on monday. The BBC seem to think the weather is going to be alright, but I think I will forget I even looked at the Weather Channel, they say its going to be awful.
We have just come back from the Isle of Wight. We had absolutely glorious weather for this time of year with blue skies and sunshine. It rained heavily the night before we left ( a pain as we had to pack the tent away wet ). The last night and day also had extremely strong winds, but generally I was pleased with the way the weather turned out.
Well the weather forecast we get here for our traders says that it is supposed to be Sunny Intervals with possible light showers for most of the next 10 days. This is only for southern England though. But then again, i got it completely wrong for last week.
That's good news for you Steve, it seems like it's been raining up here since last freakin' bonfire night and every reservoir around the Lancs/Yorks border is full to bursting point !! It must be your turn in the South to get wet for days and bloody days on end soon mate 'cos us up here in the North are sick of it !
