Has anyone bought from the united caravans web site, we are looking to buy last years sunncamp vario 5 from off there but we are concerned about buying it off the internet

Is it www.unitedbritishcaravans.co.uk If  so have no fear we ordered a coleman columbia from them last Sunday mornining on the net and it was here wednesday.

no trouble at all got it erected for first time today well chuffed!!!

What a bargain it was too at least 220quid cheaper than rrp free postage too can't be bad! came by USP who I find v reliable.

recommended by someone on here and I am vey grateful to them great buy!!!

It is my local shop (well 15 miles local) and i was there today, they have always been friendly and helpful to me.  So i personally cannot fault them.  Good luck.

I agree.  This is also my local shop.  Very friendly and helpful.  Have bought lots of stuff from them.  Doubt you will have any problems.  Go for it

dilligaf67 ----- its my local shop too but i think we must be going to different ones .... they are the most unhappy and miserable people i know ... never had a smile out of them yet ... however the place is fantastic but would be better if they would crack a smile once in a while!

I can recommend United British Caravans  

Bought our 2nd tent, a Sunncamp Vario 5 from them last year.  Having used the tent once, we bought a caravan from them this year.  Will be selling the tent on ebay soon  so shame you chose the Vario 6

Hi, united british caravans is a great place to go.

we bought our sunncamp from there, and it was reduced. 

We have just bought a tin tent, so went to united british caravans on saturday and got all the kit we needed plus more, for a lot less than anywhere else.

If you could mbabco i would make the trip up, as they have all the tents on display.

For camping equipment i would not go anywhere else.

i agree with amy about the staff but the shop is really good and alot cheaper for all your equipment than anywhere else that i know of

Yes, have to agree. They are our local shop and I have never found anywhere cheaper. We were there yesterday looking for a smaller tent for just us without child and asked advice about getting our big one repaired. the man was sooooo helpful, even gave me the numer of the repairer they used, I thought they would try to sell us another big one. Highly recommend them.

we bought sunncamp seat bank holiday monday £19.99p at UBC cheapest around argos the same price but all ways out of stock. and an other camping shop up by haxham the same seat was £34.99p can you believe it

Maybe you caught them on a bad day Amy.  I went there a few weekends ago and it was really really busy.  Tried asking a couple of the assistants for advice but didn't get very far so went home.  Returned on the Monday to try again and the assistant remembered me.   First thing she did was apologise for not being more helpful the day before.  They had a caravan promotion on and had been rushed off their feet all weekend.  She couldn't have been more helpful, answered all my questions and kept apologising for my previous visit.
