If you wear your dirty clothes for long enough eventually they wear themselves clean again !

Washing on hols? If I had my way I'd use all my clothes until dirty, then up sticks and move to a naturist site for the remainder of my hols. Maybe not in winter though, could be a tad embarrasing (ya know wot i'm sayin')

Of course, there is usually a laundrette in a nearby town that offers service washes....!

Following on from Shirlandy, I always take mine to the nearest town to the launderette, you find most towns have them, and all do service washes.  I have always done this even when not camping.  Its great - drop washing off - go out for day - then pick it up on way back to tent.  I thought that is what everyone did!

I for one would be willing to pay a small fee to have my washing done.  Up to now I've managed to avoid using the launderette - mainly by taking loads of clothes and rubbing small things like shorts and tee shirts through in the washing up sinks.
There have been days when, like lots of other mums, the kids have gone through three outfit.  The thought of a service wash is definately appealing.
