Thanks to all the advice on this forum, I chose the Trispace.  We were thinking of a Vango 600, but we went to see both tents up on a very hot day and we much preferred the Polycotton Trispace.  It seems plenty big enough and could always buy a Utility Tent to add outside storeage space.   We are booked in for 28th July for 2 nights, first time camping since I was a child wish us luck!

We got ours from World of Camping thanks to this thread, they also have a package for first time campers for £299 including the Trispace.

We're mirroring your trip the same weekend, same tent from same people. We haven't been camping since the year before our eldest was born born (ie five years ago) so this might as well be the first time as all of our old equipment is rusted up (the camping kit that is!). All except for our Coleman lamp whose 1999 batteries are still going strong! Good luck and congratulations on your purchase.
