We have the Anglesey (it's the same design as the Excel only a smaller 5 man version). We tried it at Easter & it's brilliant. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to see it before buying (on the www) so it was a bit hit or miss, however we were glad when we put it up - it was even better than we expected! The quality is good too, in my (humble) opinion I think it at least matches if not exceeds similar ones from the other key tent makers & looks very smart.
There are insect nets on the doors & windows to stop too many bugs getting in. The sewn in groundsheet (SIG) meant we were nice & cosy (during the cold Easter nights) & there were no drafts. The tent is tall enough to stand in - I cannot touch the top even if I jump up but I'm only 5' 1/2"!
P.S. Forgot to mention that it's double skinned throughout the living & bedroom areas which keeps it warmer in cooler months & cooler in summer.
The porch section is useful for storing shoes & wet clothes so you don't have to bring them into the cosy living area. In the daytime, it makes a nice area to sit whilst looking out at your surroundings - we put a small windbreak in front of ours & it made a nice private place to sit or have the bbq. It was also big enough to leave 2 chairs up when we went out. You can put the front door out on poles for additional shelter, the poles are included but not shown on any of the sales pictures.
The porch hasn't got a SIG, it is the apron type with draught guards around the sides. We had a badger raid one night over Easter during the night (common at Limefitt Park apparently) but it only got into the porch as everywhere else in the tent is SIG! It was a bit wierd lying in bed at night hearing the paws patter over the porch groundsheet! 
The 'living room' is a great size even in our smaller version, there is plenty of room for our 'kitchen table' to store equipment & food. We also had 2 chairs in there, another table for the water container, the 'TV' (my laptop) and all our stuff. There was plenty room for more, it is very spacious compared to some other tents.
I could stand up in the bedrooms, as I said I am short but my OH had no problems (or he didn't say anything anyway). The Excel bedrooms are taller I think.

You might have a better chance of seeing one of these 2006 models on display which will give you a good idea of the size. We saw the Pegasus after we'd bought our Anglesey and I was pleased when I got an idea of the size. We also went to a tent show a couple of weeks ago and kept congratulating ourselves (!) on our choice as it was better (for us) than all the tents we saw.
Where abouts are you? We saw the Pegasus at Outdoor World in Warrington in the week before Easter.
