tess the senic can take a fair bit of stuff, but for safty reasons you dont pack the boot space above the seat height, unless you got a frame up to stop life threatning flying objects from hetting you on the back of the head when under hard breaking or been hit in the rear, we got one and use a roof box for the extra space when camping and even with out that we can get a lot in it, the floor storage hold air beds pumps and other small things, great for storging drinks in as it cools them down
Pmsl ,hope you never see our car when its packed then !!!
If you jam everything in sooo tightly all the way to to the roof then even if you break sharply nothing moves an inch !!!

Benski, my friends are about to sell their Renault Scenic, don't know where you are in the country but we are in Somerset. They have bought a Galaxy as the kids are growing and they changed their caravan. Nowt wrong with the scenic.

Hi
Would also vouch for a Picasso - best thing ever for camping - especially the Air con.
You will fill the space you have cause we started camping 3 weeks in France during summer 4 years ago and then we had a small Astra Sport. Two kids of our own and our nephew one year and at one point had two tents cause one leaked and we wanted to bring the other one home to sort! Oh yes and 30 bottles of wine on the way home too - yes we had a roof box but no trailer.
Mad or what - we did have fun though.

I have an 05 plate Renault Megane 1.9 (130bhp) sport tourer estate (spose it's just a Megane estate really)
This is such a cool car, much better than a Ford or the mpv thingy's, and the load it can carry is quite staggering....
Tally ho........
